Consultation — Tasmania

A consultation meeting was held at Newstead College in Launceston on Saturday 9 May 2009. The meeting was attended by participants from independent and state secondary schools, tertiary institutions and retired persons.

Two groups discussed the Background Report and in particularly alternative ways of organising a national geography curriculum.

People who attended the consultation forum as well as those who submitted online and paper-based submissions are thanked for the valuable feedback they provided to the writers.
